I cancelled all my appointments for a day because I just want to be with my BFF (best friend forever!), Datin Shazreen Zulkifli.  She is a young, educated, stylish yet very humble (did I say slim?) and beautiful person inside out. I can tell her everything because I really, really trust her!

We’re having green tea,  salad and roll for lunch at Pasta Zanmai  a Japanese Italian fusion restaurant @ Midvalley. It is one of the best makan places in town for those who love Japanese and Italian fusion food.

Shaz insisted to pay (as usual!) and guess what she took out from her Fendi Spy bag?
A blue Chanel clutch she just bought from her recent Singapore shopping trip. It is SGD1400 (RM3,500). Quite affordable for classic piece that you can carry for the rest of your life!

A sign?  Lately I am so falling in love with Chanel and I think it is because of hormone change and it is all coming back to me now due to the fact that I used to say “Chanel is only for the old”

Maybe this is the way God trying to tell me that I am getting older and  the message is in form of Chanel! As far as I can remember, my style phases are  when I was in school; sporty, young Adidas and Nike are my choice, university; young and hip Calvin Klein and Benetton pieces are my liking, then other labels come and go and now another phase in my style life, the classic Chanel! I wonder what are my obsessions after this, Hermes scarf and Burberry? (I tend to say Burberry checked is for the old and the Hermes overpriced silk scarves are for the old ladies)
Right now, I can’t afford Chanel because I’ve just spend like A LOT on my new kitchen cabinet (FYI, not for cooking, it’s for others to see!). To overcome my frustration for unable to afford Chanel for the time being, I bought these Zara bags!

Zara  Malaysia is having a sale now for another TWO WEEKS from now. You don’t want miss it.
Spending at Zara makes me feel  young and hip, like my uni period. But again, I always reminded myself, the best way to look young is to wear with your age and do not try too hard.
Am I able to do that? Of course I can.. you can do it too!
