“RATU Jazz, Datuk Sheila Majid, 45, bakal mencipta sejarah tersendiri apabila beliau menggayakan kebaya labuh termahal di dunia pada Ratu A Charity Gala Tribute To Malaysia Women Featuring Sheila Majid 25 Years anjuran Cosry Wise (M) Sdn Bhd yang menguruskan Butik Cosry. Kebaya yang akan digayakan Sheila itu ditaburi butiran berlian daripada Mouawad, jenama batu pertama bermutu tinggi yang diasaskan Dinasty Mouawad dari Geneva. Usahasama Cosry dengan Mouawad itu akan dimasukkan dalam Guinness Book of World Records. Harga dirahsiakan atas sebab-sebab keselamatan.
You go girl. Sheila Majid memang layak memakai baju kebaya yang paling mahal di dunia kerana dia telah berdiri dikelasnya yang tersendiri. Sheila pun dah biasa memakai pakaian mahal-mahal sejak dariduou lagi. SAya masih ingat semasa Sukan Komanwel 1998, dia mengenakan baju Michael Ong yang berharga RM20 ribu (ketika tu harga macam ni agak mahal la jugak!)
I am sure I’ll be hearing/reading a LOTs.. lots of nasty comments about the price of the kebaya, “like why it is so expensive cos they are like poor people out there” or ‘membazir duit”.
Tak kisahlah orang nak cakap apa yang penting dah terbukti kebaya juga adalah pakaian yang akan masuk dalam buku Guniess! Lagi mahal lagi bagus…
