Forget about being snobbish, classy and inconsiderate bitch (am I am talking to myself?) by only hitting high end shops because the best pearl here is actually hidden at the most down to earth hawker stalls in Sinsuran night market or Pasar Filipina.

FYI… I am wearing my Dior sport jacket to the night market!

I am hunting for pearls and let me tell ya… this is not for me but for my auntie. She likes pearls and I am going to present to her the best pearl that has all the criteria like best quality, big (my aunt is a big girl) and cheap (I’m cheap!). The hunt leads me to a sweet Kak Rina. She is a lovely lady who thinks that I am an actor in a drama or something! I wonder which drama because I am so drama in reality..

I bought a custom made combination of salt water pearls with crystal long necklace and bracelet for only RM100! You can choose which design you want and the accessories will be ready for you in a jiffy!

I also heard that some of those “high quality” pearls sold in high end shops around the world (KL included) actually came from this part of the world. The agent will come and buy in bulk and they “rebrand’ and “repackage” the pearls  and voila…. it is like probably 300%-1000% expensive!

Kak Rina as an “enterpreneulistic” woman work day and night. She operates her cute shop at Sinsuran Complex by day and entertaining customers who want cheap, quality pearls (like me) by night at a stall in Sinsuran Night Market.
