Chanel eccentric front man Karl Lagerfeld decided to name the magazine 31 rue cambom after Chanel first ever boutique address.
It will be distributed to Chanel stores worldwide. It’s free
Ini bermakna, saya tidak akan berjalan dengan tangan kosong lagi bila keluar daripada butik Chanel (taulah harga barang Chanel berapa kan, mau tak makan sebulan!)
Get lost Sports Illustrated, the best mag for horny guys is Newsweek
But Sarah Palin is not really happy with the cover because it is too sexist!
“The choice of photo for the cover of this week’s Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this “news” magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner’s World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness — a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention — even if out of context.
My say
Why on earth should you wear that short runner shorts?.
Should wear something not too short, not too long!
It’s not easy to get honoured. Your scary bruised face must be everywhere on the internet. It needs a brave girl to face the odd. The girl is Rihanna.
She is the Glamour 2009 Woman of the Year. oh… its worth it.. Thanks Chris Brown!
In the interview she said “My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see.” She continued, “They have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.”
This is my favourite part “I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day.”
She is in Prada. She needs to wear more like this. Chic and elegant. Love everything. Thanks to Glam Editor, Wirda Adnan. She is the stylist for the shoot.
So how about the tudung? Her answer (please read in a very demure style, just like Siti-it helps with selendang di kepala)-
“Selendang ye, bukan tudung. Saya sedar selepas pulang dari Mekah, ramai yang berharap saya kan terus bertudung litup. Tapi adalah elok jikalau saya perlahan-lahan dahulu-bermula dengan selendang dan insya allah suatu hari nanti pasti akan bertudung penuh. Ini antara saya dan Allah. Saya taku jika terlalu berani bercakap takbur, balasannya nanti pasti akan berbalik kepada kita jua”
On Eh she flaunted the magical Rizman Ruzain, her favourite designer of the moment.
Ingat sapalah jadi cover GLAM 5th issue, rupa-rupanya M. Nasir. Macam cover majalah GQ pulak… or much-much-much more better! Congrats GLAM!
Saya bukanlah peminat lagu M. Nasir tapi amat mengikuti perkembangan rapat gayanya. Dia masih mengekalkan gayanya yang bohemian. Helaian-helaian Tom Abang Saufi yang longgar nampak menarik bila M. Nasir pakai tapi memang tak sesuai dengan saya. Dah cuba tapi nampak macam melayang je badan saya. Nanti kalau saya pakai nampak macam pakai baju kelawar pulak!
Only certain people can carry that look as classy and effortlessly, and M. Nasir included!
Glam 5th issue juga memaparkan Zaharil Adzim, CY Cheong, DJ Goldfish, Edrie Hashim, Mavin Khoo,
Mike Loh, Yusof Majid, Raja Malek, Bustamam Mokhtar, Faisal Tehrani, Zaini Zainul, Awal Ashaari dan Ashraf Muslim.
Mesti beli. I know it it so not easy to get this but if you see it, grab it!
It was 1990’s and I am at public library flipping through this supermodels on Her Worlds. The magazine is relatively expensive for me back then so I have to rush to the library just to read what inside. During that time, it was so refreshing to see Malaysian faces rule!
Fast forward to the future, now I am older and wiser (yeah rite!) just like the supermodels I adore. But our Malaysian fashion scene seems to change too. The designers seem to forget that Malaysian faces are the best and commercially accepted!
It is a big boost for my Monday blues to see Sienna Miller on the cover Vogue in red one shoulder Calvin Klein dress. It reminds me of 1990’s when one shoulder is like so big and every designer from Versace in Italy to Sonny Sun in Malaysia comes out with at least a piece of one shoulder. Calvin Klein is the epitome of simple one shoulder. Now it is happening again.
Left: Alexander Wang plum polyamide dress. Regitze Overgaard for Georg Jensen sterling-silver bracelet.
Right: Calvin Klein Collection custom azalea silk single-shoulder dress.
Nina Ricci fuchsia silk-satin one-shoulder tunic, leggings, and Swarovski-crystal bead necklace. Pierre Hardy gold water-snake open-toe boots with leather trim.
