Musim panas di KL ni elok sangatlah jika dapat berehat di tempat sejuk.. yang lagi sejuk seperti di Air Terjun Jeriau, Fraser Hill.
What a serene and peaceful place. Not crowded AT ALL.. I hope they keep it this way! Paling utama ialah kemudahan memang cukup untuk beriadah!

Peringatan.. sepanjang saya berada di Fraser Hill, di sini memang tiada kedai mamak! Kepada sesiapa yang tak boleh hidup tanpa mamak tu memang tak boleh lama-lama kat sini!

Panas sangat KL sekarang ni kan?
Menurut ramalan, cuaca panas ini akan berterusan sehingga akhir Mac 2009. Tapi siapakah kita untuk tidak henti menghenti komen kerana ini adalah yang telah ditentukan oleh masa Esa (sambil memakai koleksi Puteh daripada Rizalman dan lagu latarbelakang ditukar kepada lagu-lagu Raihan…).
CuteCarry melarikan diri ke Fraser Hill dan INI ADALAH KALI PERTAMA MENJEJAKKAN KAKI KE FRASER HILL!
Jalan untuk ke puncak agak ‘bengkang-bengkok’ dan dalam sekitar 6 kilometer terakhir, ITS A ONE WAY ROAD. Jadual untuk melalui JALAN SEHALA ke Fraser adalah seperti di bawah:-
Formula untuk mengingat ialah nombor genap, atas ke bawah, nombor ganjil ialah bawah ke atas!
Sementera menunggu untuk naik keatas, kita boleh berehat di tempat yang agak selesa dengan kemudahan tandas yang bersih dan surau. Ada juga sebuah gerai yang menjual minuman, tetapi CuteCarry berharap penjual tu apalah salahnya senyum sedikit kat pelanggan-pelanggan!
Walau apapun berlaku, sempat berposing di gerai yang terletak berdekatan dengan tempat bermula ONE WAY ROAD TERSEBUT.

CuteCarry berpendapat, disebabkan terdapat banyak bunga-bunga matahari di atas Fraser Hill, kerajaan patut mempertimbangkan untuk menjadikan bunga matahari sebagai identiti Fraser Hill. Konsepnya sama seperti Strawberry untuk Cameron Highlands dan Tulip untuk Maxwell Hill.
This year, instead of club with sweaty and drunk party animals, I leave my skinny jeans and tank top for a red short, fedora and a flip flop for something different. My friend and I decided to spend our new year with real animals at Deer Land @ Kuala Gandah. (more…)

It is collapsed. It is worst than what I think!
But what you don’t know is, there is someone who likes to pose on the ruin of the stadium. It is like a high fashion shot near the Rome ruin or something…
Never in my life had I seen so many creative, colourful canvases in one place. My eyes try to capture the thousands shades of colour, millions floral and unique designs and of course the smell. Batik produces smell, the fabric smell. It’s not unpleasant smell but the smell of new fabrics yelling, begging, and asking us to take them home!
If someone mentioned Kuala Terengganu, if you never step into Pasar Payang, forget about telling everyone you’ve been in Kuala Terengganu. It is a must for those who seek high quality batik. Each of them are produce to almost near perfection and I am glad to know that some of the designs are unique, only one in universe!
Pasar Payang is located near the small harbor that is used to transport from Kuala Terengganu. I read somewhere it is called Pasar Payang because of Terengganu traditional Payang Boat which is once upon a time it is the most popular boat used by the fishermen here. Payang is also referring to a large fishing net which is suit and pull by the paying boat.
It is Mazliaty, Syida and myself The Charlie Angels are been given a task to clear purses and wallet at Pasar Payang. The two girls are violently excited (especially Mazliaty, that is why her nick is Mazliaty Konsep Batik) to buy as much batik as they can. Their search for batik started at the first store. Well… I’m telling ya.. I am not excited as them, but I did buy something!
Once a morning person, always a morning person. Even on a ‘little luxury period’, I woke up at 6.40am for a dip in the warm Pangkor water. It is a private beach (plus other guest still sleeping) so please don’t ask me what is my swim wear. The ambience of this part of the world is so natural and that is why I go back to nature.

I can’t remember when the last time me facing the public in au natural. No hair gel, loose Calvin Klein and 501 jeans and my trusted oversized Guess vogue tote plus having nasi lemak, mee goreng, teh tarik, eggs, bread and lots more for breakfast at one go! None uncertified fashion critics around and I can let loose and eat without thinking about adding kilos. The nature just give me new meaning of life!
The unique creature that can’t let you enjoy the nature alone is this hornbills and peacocks. They came from the nearest forest. I guess that they get used with human interaction.
I am happy with nature. I’ll be back to real life and hunting for the bargain designer handbag for the sake of my happiness but I wonder the hornbills and peacocks will happy in years to come.
This island is a tourist magnet. The development is unbearable. I still remember 20 years ago I went to Pangkor, there fishes and sea horses swimming at the jetty. Now, I can see none!
If in years I can’t see the hornbills or peacock, I blame the over development of Pangkor Island.
