If Penang is the Pearl of the Orient, Sabah is the Pearl of Borneo because this is the place where you can get the best fresh and salt water pearls. All you have to do is to find the best. Forget about being snobbish, classy and inconsiderate bitch (am I am talking to myself?) by only hitting high end shops because the best pearl here is actually hidden at the most down to earth hawker stalls in Sinsuran night market or Pasar Filipina.
