STYLO Fashion GP will return for the 4th consecutive year to boost the upcoming 13th Petronas Malaysia F1 GP with an 8-day festival covering 4 major locations within the capital city. It will once again be presented by Mercedes-Benz but will welcome several new partners such as Sepang International Circuit; the Tourism Ministry and the Ford Models Supermodel of the World.
The 2011 theme ‘Fashion Theatre’ will see STYLO fusing fashion with famous musicals against the F1 backdrop to drive social excitement in the run-up to the Sepang race.
It includes the premier of Enfiniti Productions’ “West End Boys”; the International Shoe Festival’s opening gala, the “Glass Slipper Ball”; and the much-awaited finale of the Ford Models Supermodel of the World 2011 Search which will serve as the opening act for Korean superstar, RAIN at the F1 concert.
Over 100 Malaysian fashion and accessories designers will be presenting their creations throughout the festival.
Also making their Malaysian debut is international fashion brand F&F, a major sponsor of this year’s London Fashion Week as well as London Fashion Week’s hot emerging designer, Ara Jo. South Korean Jo is designer to Leona Lewis, Solange Knowles and eccentric megastar Lady Gaga.
An MoU signing and press conference will be organised between STYLO and its 2011 partners and sponsors. It will be hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and will be witnessed by Tourism Minister, YB Dato’ Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen.
