LENA’s creator Jaslena Ahmad has come up with an exciting new approach to resolve and overcome wardrobe angst. Pieces that can be worn together,or separately; that can lift, completely transform; that would hide flaws, and accentuate assets; in go with everything colours.Pieces that understand and meet varying lifestyles, occasions and activities; pieces that can adapt toall shapes, sizes and ages. In other words aversatile, multi-role wardrobe.
“Versatility is my own personal wish for a wardrobeand it became my focus when designing LENAbasics”, said Jaslena at its recent launch.“Each piece has been designed to work with whatyou already have as well as with one another”, sheadded. The pleasing result is a collection of fourteenseparates – dresses, tops and bottoms – cut on thebias for a more comfortable and flattering fit – thatone can literally mix and match according to one’sown unique style. The items in the range include Cardigans, eitherlong and flowy or short-cropped; Trapeze dresses, either long or short, the latter of whichcan double up as top; Square neckline tank top;long tank dress with a side slit; A-line skirts in achoice of 2 lengths, to the knee orfloor; 3 types of pants, skinny, a widelegged
pull-to-the-underarm tube version or a palazzo with a sarongstyle wrap front; and V-top with longsleeves.Made from imported, easy-care,spandex-infused jersey that continues to retain its shape with wear they are trimmed withgrosgrain in the LENA signature pink.Evidently LENA basics is more than just a range of wardrobe staples.
