Malaysian designer, Roslan Wilkinson continues his exploration of youthful Malaysian cultures and customs with his Spring / Summer 2013 collection entitled ‘The Heritage Collection’. It documents the Classic Malay block print designs which were popular decades past. An on-going theme of Roslan Wilkinson is the apparent contradiction of our expectations from a shirt; in this case the blinding colours and then dark tones, the heat and the cool, the liberation and the formality.
