I can vividly remember; few years back I am sitting on audience chair,listening on how to propel business using social media but now the role has change!

It’s been a pleasure and honour for me, as a fashion blogger and image consultant to be given such an opportunity to share my knowledge/technique about how to propel business using social media. I am not an IT specialist or someone you can call when something wrong with your notebook setting. Frankly I rate myself as ‘very average’ in IT related category. My friends call me IT BIMBO…hence it is a shocked of their life when they know I start to blog. Their expression is priceless!!

So, why I am where I am now? They called me SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERT (OMG.. are u kidding me…malu lah I) No, you are wrong, please don’t call me and asking details about IT because I am very average. I can update my blog, upload photos on facebook and lately I’m into twitter!

My secret is to apply a few techniques, simple but effective. So, I share it to those who attend the beautiful afternoon session. As a Vice President of Image Consultants International (AICI) Malaysia, it is my responsibility to market the product, consultancy service. We have our conventional method to market the product but social media is the most effective. Almost 80% of my income comes from my blog that is cutecarry.com. I shared the most important aspect of propelling our business using social media that is MARKETING!.. say it 5 times, millions times..MARKETING.

The audiences who came to the event was not only image consultants but from other industry as well but they have one thing in common, to learn on how to use social media. So, my talk kinda likes a very common, layman style. Not too technical cos if I started to talk technically, I will be swept away into the world of imagination because I can’t understand IT technical terms!!!
